Making, shipping & care.
Every ring is crafted to order in our workshop and sent insured anywhere in the world. Here is exactly what to expect — from production to the courier ringing your door.
Production time
All items, except for custom orders, are made within 14 to 21 business days from the time of payment (excluding Fridays and Saturdays). Custom orders are quoted individually after the design is finalized with our head designer.
Making time can be expedited to a certain extent if you have a deadline. Please contact us before ordering so we can confirm what is feasible for your piece.
Shipping worldwide
Every parcel is sent fully insured and trackable via DHL or FedEx. We have shipped globally twice a week for years and rarely encounter issues. Standard international shipping takes 4 to 7 business days to arrive, excluding customs delays.
Expedited shipping is available at checkout for an additional USD 95.
If a parcel is sent to a workplace or apartment building, please note that the shipping insurance ends the moment the parcel is signed for by anyone at the receiving address.
Packaging
Every ring is packed in our own designed wooden gift box — strong enough to protect the piece in transit and beautiful enough to use as the gift box itself. No additional wrapping required.
Customs, duties & taxes
Customs duties and import taxes are the customer’s responsibility. We recommend checking your local rates before ordering.
United States
Current US import tax is approximately 15%, charged by the courier once the parcel arrives in US customs. US citizens may be exempt depending on circumstances — please verify with the carrier.
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)
We offer DDP shipping, where the import tax is paid directly through our website before dispatch and no further taxes are due on arrival. Contact us if you would like to ship DDP and we will arrange the correct invoice.
Sizing
All sizes on our site are standard US sizes. We strongly recommend being measured by a professional jeweler, or using accurate measuring tools, before placing your order.
- Wide bands (4 mm and up): measure for a wide band — it is often slightly larger than a thin one. Wide band sizes are taken from the inner diameter.
- Standard fit:on a jeweler’s mandrel, the lower edge of the ring that meets the mandrel indicates the size.
- Comfort fit: on a mandrel, the middle of the ring that meets the mandrel indicates the size.
Some designs cannot be resized after production — usually pieces with a 360° pattern. If you have any doubt about your size or your design, please contact us before ordering. Most engagement rings can be resized locally by a qualified jeweler; we will confirm for your specific piece.
Allergies & sensitivities
Unless indicated or agreed otherwise, all white gold jewelry contains a small amount of nickel. If you have any known sensitivity, we recommend choosing platinum or another gold color, or contacting us to discuss alternatives. Any other sensitivities should be discussed with us before ordering.
Care & maintenance
Most pieces can be cleaned and maintained at home with mild soap, warm water, and a soft brush. A few materials need extra care:
- Opals are sensitive — they can chip or crack if struck by a hard object. Avoid contact with creams, perfumes, and household chemicals.
- Pearls are easily scratched and damaged by chemicals, perfumes, and lotions. Wipe gently after wear.
- Rhodium plating on white gold can fade over time depending on wear; a qualified local jeweler can renew the plating quickly and inexpensively.
